Minutes from Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave, hiking trails, kayaking, zip-lining, and nearby wineries perfect for romantic getaways, adventure, or peaceful escapes.

The location is awesome! In the middle of the Hocking Hills, situated less than 2 miles from Boch Hollow Nature Preserve. You are 8 miles to local restaurants in the town of Logan. Our area has so many opportunities for Hiking and getting out in nature. Old Man's cave, Ash cave, Cedar falls, Rock house and Cantwell Cliffs just to name a few.

There are nearby opportunities for Hiking, Canoeing/Kayaking, Horseback riding, Zip lining, Bicycling, fishing, climbing and many more.

Valley View Hills Winery is just a short drive away less than 5 miles there are also a couple breweries in the Hocking Hills.

The opportunity to just stay at the retreat and relax is also a great option. Natures Crest has a fantastic porch swing. The hot tub, fire pit and propane BBQ grill are ready for you to enjoy.

There are two bedrooms, with a king-size bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size bed in the guest bedroom. Two full bathrooms. The master bathroom has a huge walk in shower. Natures Crest sleeps 4 people. The maximum number of guests allowed on a reservation is 6. You can bring an air mattress, but we do not provide cots.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances. We also have a washing machine and dryer please bring your own detergent.

The living room has a smart TV and access to DirecTV satellite TV.

The road in is paved and the driveway is paved for easy access!

In January 2025, we upgraded the living and dining furniture to brand-new pieces.

As of June 2022, we completed a major Wi-Fi upgrade. You can stream in 4K or make Zoom calls without any issues. The download speed is approximately 100 Mb per second, and the upload speed is around 10 Mbps. Wi-Fi is free while you’re staying at our home.

The Fire Pit

The views here are absolutely incredible — you’re perched right at the very top of the hill, with sweeping panoramas all around. Outdoor living at Nature’s Crest Retreat is truly second to none, offering peaceful, spacious spots to relax and take in the scenery. The stars are bright here we have no light pollution and its also quiet absent of road noise.

The Neighbors

These are the only neighbors you will see at Nature's Crest Retreat! Expect to encounter abundant, beautiful wildlife — including whitetail deer — roaming the peaceful, wooded grounds. This is the back yard.

The Hot Tub

The hot tub at Nature's Crest Retreat is the place to be — relax and unwind while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The views are absolutely stunning, from vivid sunrise to brilliant, star-filled nights that make the whole experience feel magical.

Outdoor Living

Outdoor living — extra-large, comfortable porch swing, a Weber propane grill for easy outdoor cooking, cozy fire pit with large Adirondack chairs, an expansive, well-kept yard, and pleasant walks along our quiet, small paved road. Spending time on the porch admiring the view enjoying the sound of the birds is just so peaceful at Natures Crest Retreat. There isn’t any road noise, no sound from neighbors and the night sky is bright with stars far away from the light pollution of the city.
